8. Display, Add and Edit GPS Marks

8.3 Editing GPS Marks
| Step 1: |
To edit GPS marks that you have added to the database you need to firstly click on the green Add/Edit GPS Marks button to the left of the image. (See Fig 18 in Display Marks & Mark Details section to the left). The GPS Marks Management table will open up (See Fig 23 below) and you then need to click on the word edit in the Edit column alongside the mark you wish to edit.

You will be presented with an Edit GPS Marks table as in Fig 24 below. You can then carry out any editing on your mark in the appropriate sections. Once finished click on the Proceed button, your mark will be updated and you will be presented with a Success screen. Click on the Back To List to return to the GPS Marks Management screen to see all your edited marks. Note: If you choose to make the mark Public then it will be visible to all subscribers and Earthinsite reserves the right to edit or delete these marks if it considers them inappropriate.

8.4 Deleting GPS Marks
To delete any GPS marks that you have added to the database you need to firstly click on the green Add/Edit GPS Marks button to the left of the image. (See Fig 18 in Display Marks & Mark Details section to the left). The GPS Marks Management table will open up (See Fig 25 below) and you then click on the word delete in the Delete column alongside the mark you wish to delete.

You will then see a Delete GPS Mark table (See Fig 26 below) listing the details of the mark you wish to delete. Click the Delete button to confirm the deletion. Once finished you will be presented with a Success screen. Click on the Back To List to return to the GPS Marks Management screen and you will see that your mark has been deleted. Deleted marks cannot be recovered.
