Once you have selected the area for your image and processed it the way that you prefer you can now add to the image any existing public and your private GPS marks that occur within your selected area. You may also add marks and classify them to make them visible to all users, or choose to have them visible to only yourself. Once you have added a mark you may also edit it or delete it.
Disclaimer: The public GPS Marks in this database, added by Earthinsite, have been derived from various sources such as websites, fishing clubs and subscribers. Earthinsite is not responsible for inaccurate marks or for marks added by any other third party and we advise caution when using them. If you believe that a Mark is incorrectly positioned, please email us and provide as much detail as possible including your contact details.
8.1 Display Marks & Mark Details

To display the GPS locations of known marks within your selected area you need to click on the green Show/Hide GPS Marks button to the left of the image (See Fig 18 below). The marks will then be shown as in the figure below. Public marks will appears as small Yellow squares and private marks as small Green squares.

To display the details for any mark in your image hold down the Ctrl button on the keyboard and then click on the mark with the left mouse button. A small box with details on the mark will open up in the top right corner of your image (See Fig 19 below). The colour of the particular mark that you are querying will change to Red. To move the details box to another location in your image hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard down and with the left mouse button click on the box, and with the mouse button held down drag the box to another location.
To see the details of another mark just repeat the same steps as above.
